Nata a Santa Margherita Ligure, vive e lavora nella provincia di Bergamo.
Diplomata all’Accademia Carrara di Belle Arti di Bergamo, ha seguito i corsi di disegno, pittura e incisione, distinguendosi per la qualità delle sue incisioni.
Dal 1985 lavora come illustratrice di libri. Ha così arricchito testi di narrativa, testi scolastici, monografie, manuali, periodici, comunicazione sociale e pubblicità.
Tiene corsi di acquaforte, disegno e acquarello per biblioteche, associazioni culturali e licei.
Etchings and Illustrations
Born in Santa Margherita Ligure, two steps away from Portofino. Alessandra now lives in Bergamo, a city twenty-five miles east of Milan.
In Bergamo, she studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. There, her inborn attitude for engraving, drawing and painting were highly valued and earned her a scholarship each year for all six years.
She has illustrated novels, school-books, monographs and user’s manuals, magazine articles, pamphlets, and has drawn for advertising campaigns, all fields where she is still very active.
She has held and holds courses in etching, drawing and watercolour in high schools, clubs and libraries.
